Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with September start dates, a competitive salary of £10.00 per hour and additional benefits including amazing discounts, free meals, free golf membership and a full Employee Assistance Program. Based at the heart of the hotel, the Guest Services Host provides the warm and authentic Scottish welcome to all of our guests. You are responsible for the first and last impression for our guests and to ensure the guests in-house journey is a consistent guest service experience from arrival through to departure.
Your Key Responsibilities.
Ensure every guest is provided with a warm welcome to the hotel and estate
Assist guests with their luggage needs during arrival and departure and work closely with the reception team to ensure a smooth and memorable guest experience
Assist guests with directions and information regarding SCHLOSS Roxburghe’s activities, services, hours of operation and local areas of interest
Engage and interact with our guests creating magical and memorable moments during the time at SCHLOSS Roxburghe
Assist to valet park our guests cars and complete airport transfers
Attend to guest requests and requirements throughout their stay, adding your personal recommendations and touches
Manage errands including deliveries and collections from guest rooms during their stay
Show your creativity and think outside of the box to create positive memorable experiences for our guests
Support the Food & Beverage and Housekeeping teams when required with delivery of room amenities and room moves
Recognise that operations must run 24 hours, 7 days a week, without interruption
A high level of confidentiality and discretion towards guests and colleagues is to be maintained at all times
Your Knowledge & Capabilities.
Have a warm and welcoming smile and a positive attitude You are friendly, courteous, and helpful You are an excellent communicator with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels You are enthusiastic and have the ability to build genuine and trusting relationships with guests and colleagues You are knowledgeable about the local area
Proven Experience/Qualifications:
Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a comparable position or industry, desirable Experience in a customer or guest facing role desirable Full, current and clean driving UK driver’s licence is essential
