The Exciting Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Sales Manager who demonstrates great pro activity, excellent sales skills and delivers exceptional customer service. The role will be responsible for managing and driving the sales accounts for the hotel to maximise potential business and revenue at every opportunity.
This exciting new role will require participating in sales appointments, events and roadshows within the travel and hospitality industry and therefore can be based out of Edinburgh with two days on site at the hotel and three days on the road with appointments. This is a full-time position with a competitive annual salary from £30k, based on experience.
Previous Sales Management experience within a 4 or 5 star hotel is essential as well as a clean UK driving licence. A laptop, mobile phone and fuel allowance will be included in the package.

Your Key Responsibilities.

Working remotely in a proactive development role, you’ll be a key face of SCHLOSS Roxburghe in the market.
Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, you’ll be actively contributing to the FIT, Groups, GTO and Corporate strategy for the property
Supporting the successful launch of the new wing, making sure we’re viewed as the place to stay, play, meet and celebrate in Scotland.
Working closely with corporate clients and agents in UK & Europe, ensuring we’re front of mind for those travellers looking for a 5 star UK event
Create strong relationships with our existing and potential clients, organising roadshows, FAM trips and client activity
Creatively investigating and identifying new and innovative opportunities in line with market trends
Conducting virtual, and where possible in person, site inspections and product updates on our offerings in the most professional and innovative ways
Hosting and attending FAM trips for clients who see SCHLOSS Roxburghe as a potential destination for their events and developing this business
Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way
