Tweed Salmon Festival 2026

25 - 26 April 2026
10am - 5pm

Building on the success of last year's inaugural Tweed Salmon Festival, the River Tweed's ghillie and angling community has once again partnered with some of the world's leading
outdoor brands to bring this grass-roots fly-fishing event back to the river.

This free weekend festival was conceived with several clear objectives - to raise funds for Atlantic salmon conservation and to provide an accessible platform for introducing people of all ages to fly-fishing.

Retail.

The main festival hall will host a variety of retail opportunities, featuring retailer Fin & Game alongside leading fly-fishing brands including CND rods, Nextcast fly-lines and LOC waders. Renowned fly-dressers such as Stuart Foxall, Paul Little and Ross MacDonald will demonstrate a range of tying techniques using the latest materials, and will be happy to share their collective expertise across both trout and salmon patterns.

Around the loch, further manufacturers including Mackenzie, Caden Cadence and LOOP, will offer visitors
the chance to test their 2026 tackle selections on a dedicated casting platform. Patagonia will also provide free clothing repairs at its Worn Wear trailer - available for all brands, excluding waders. At the upper end of the loch, the Scandinavian Fire area, sponsored by Yeti, will host open-fire cooking demonstrations and promote a Loch to Plate programme, highlighting sustainable, locally sourced food and cooking concepts.
