You will create and implement the vision and strategy for the new Spa and Leisure at SCHLOSS Roxburghe, coordinating all aspects of the pre-opening team and operation
Identify and integrate the spa brand considered most appropriate for SCHLOSS Roxburghe
Establish and implement the spa’s sales and marketing strategy and yearly budget
Establish and develop key partnerships within the spa industry and local and regional areas
Drive revenue from additional revenue sources such as: spa product sales, Food & Beverage, and membership enrolments to generate increased revenue
You will keep up to date with current industry developments and identify new trends to introduce to the department
You will suggest and implement innovative sales customer service ideas to develop and grow the Spa and Leisure Club
Maintain and curate relationships with business partners and stakeholders
SPA & LEISURE MANAGEMENT:
Ensure that the Spa and Leisure comply with all COSHH and Health & Safety standards and the team are fully trained in: Plant room, Pool Chemicals, Pool Responder Course, First Aid.
You will ensure that financial targets are met through ongoing monitoring of results, and creative solutions to improve profit
You will be responsible for the Health & Safety of guests and employees in the Spa and Leisure ad promote safety awareness at all times
Work with maintenance team and contractors to monitor and maintain spa facilities and equipment while monitoring pool chemicals as required by H&S regulations
Make sure of the H&S platform to log any incidents
Keep abreast of stock status and take action where required
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE/SERVICE:
You will ensure that all products and services delivered by the Spa and Leisure meet and exceed guest expectations
You will ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations of the spa and coordinate the delivery of spa services including spa, retail products, fitness & wellness, spa treatments, reservations, reception desk
You will meet targets for hotel performance KPI’s and guest satisfaction scores
Build customer loyalty through product and customer service excellence
TEAM & LEADERSHIP:
You will provide day to day leadership to your team, by motivating, encouraging and driving the team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve revenue goals
You will be responsible for the management of your team members, including providing regular feedback, performance reviews and encourage personal progression
Establish a passionate and driven Spa and Leisure team and take ownership of the recruitment of new team members
You will identify training needs and opportunities and share your own expertise with your team
PRE-OPENING:
You will provide the direction for the new Spa and Leisure, leading the development and establishment of the overall vision and concept
Demonstrate astute business acumen and financial expertise to create and establish the pricing, costs, budget and P&L for the Spa and Leisure, with a focus on all revenue sources to ensure that revenue goals are achieved and expenses minimised
You will establish and manage the pre-opening critical path for the new Spa and Leisure
You will oversee, manage, and coordinate all the pre-opening activities for the Spa and Leisure: following up with the construction team on any issues, concerns, and the overall construction timeline, liaise with designers, consultants and contractors
Project manage to source and decide on equipment, materials, and supplies at all stages of the project
You will be responsible for developing the team structure, and the creation of a passionate and driven Spa and Leisure team by taking full ownership of the recruitment and training of all team members
You will establish the customer journey and experience combined with the operational plan for the new Spa and Leisure
Produce and implement the procedures and SOPs for the team to deliver the customer experience
