Journey

ARRIVING BY CAR.

When coming from Edinburgh or Glasgow, exit the A720 (city bypass) at the A68 turnoff toward Jedburgh. Then exit the A68 at Carfraemill onto the A697 and follow signs for Kelso. Turn right onto the A6089 and continue following signs for Kelso.

Stay on the A6089 as it merges into the A698 in the town of Kelso. Continue on the A698 until you pass through the village of Heiton and turn right as you see the sign for SCHLOSS Roxburghe. The entrance to the driveway will be on your left.

If driving from Newcastle, follow the A696 toward Jedburgh, eventually merging with the A68. Exit the A68 onto the A698 and follow signs for Kelso. SCHLOSS Roxburghe is located on the left hand side before you enter the village of Heiton.

ARRIVING BY TRAIN.

There is a selection of options if arriving by train. From London, regular trains travel direct to Berwick upon Tweed station, located about 40 minutes away from SCHLOSS Roxburghe. Trains also travel direct from London to Edinburgh. From Edinburgh, regular trains run to Galashiels station, which is also a 30 minute journey away from the resort. We would be happy to coordinate transportation for you via taxi.

ARRIVING BY PLANE.

The nearest airports are Edinburgh (55 miles / 1h 20 min), Newcastle (45 miles / 50 min) Glasgow (100 miles / 2h).

Public transport options are available from each of these airports, along with private car hire.

ARRIVING BY HELICOPTER.

Private transfer by helicopter is available, with guests able land in the grounds of the estate. A member of our team will personally greet arriving guests and transfer them directly to reception using one of our estate buggies.

Coming from Newcastle, follow the A696 signposted Jedburgh. The A696 then merges with the A68. Exit the A68 n to the A698 and follow signs for Kelso. SCHLOSS Roxburghe is located on the left hand sign just as you enter the village of Heiton.
