Public Areas Housekeeper.


The Exciting Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Public Areas Housekeeper who has a positive ‘can do’ attitude to join the amazing Housekeeping team at SCHLOSS Roxburghe! You will be responsible for cleaning of the hotel's public areas and golf Clubhouse according to the hotel's luxury standards and the role will also include some material and laundry requirements.

Your key responsibilities.

You will ensure all public areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard, including restaurants and other F&B venues, and guest toilets
You will be responsible for daily cleaning and presentation of the Golf Clubhouse including the Pro Shop, golf members changing facilities and the Restaurant
You will ensure a prompt, courteous and considerate daily room and turndown service is provided to our guests making them feel welcomed and comfortable
You will ensure all furniture, equipment and appliances in the public areas are in clean and flawless condition, reporting any faults to the maintenance team
You will provide additional support to the Housekeeping team where required
You will ensure that all cleaning, hygienic, safety and COSHH precautions are taken
You will contribute ideas and suggestions to the development of the department

Proven experience/qualifications:

Previous housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
All applicants must have right to work in the UK
