What to bring with you
Ensure you've packed the appropriate clothing for any activities you may have booked during your stay. The weather can be unpredictable in Scotland so it's always a good idea to pack a waterproof jacket and waterproof shoes if you plan to be enjoy the outdoors.
For those teeing off on our championship golf course, don't forget your clubs! However, if you do, we have plenty hire sets available and our team is always able to assist those who decide on an impromptu round of golf.
If you are purchasing day passes to grant access to the spa, remember to pack your swimsuit so you can enjoy a relaxing dip in our heated outdoor infinity pool.
Style guide
Above all else, we want to ensure our guests are comfortable. Most of the public areas allow for casual wear, however guests visiting our Sunlaws fine dining restaurant and Bar 1745 should dress to a smart casual style.
Breakfast Credit
Guests in our self-catering cottages receive a £25 daily breakfast credit per cottage for use on a 'breakfast shop' at the Estate Market. This is only redeemable on breakfast items and must be redeemed before 12:00 each day.
Cottage Cleaning
Our cottages are self-catering units - to ensure a comfortable stay, our Housekeeping team offers one interim cleaning for every 4 nights booked with us.
Additional cleaning throughout your stay is available if required. A full service, including a towel change and change of bed linen, is available for £80 per cottage. A partial service is available for £40, which includes a towel change but no change of bed linen.

Guests are welcome to choose from a variety of restaurants at SCHLOSS Roxburghe. We strongly recommend that bookings are made prior to arrival to avoid disappointment.
Spa & Treatments
Our award-winning spa is an oasis of serenity and the ideal place to unwind. Our treatments offer something for everyone, and our therapists are happy to assist in recommending what is most suitable.
It is highly recommended that treatments are booked prior to arrival, as we cannot guarantee availability on the day.
PLEASE NOTE: Guests in our self-catering cottages do not have access to our spa relaxation area included in their stay. Day passes are available to purchase directly from the spa on the day, subject to availability.
Activities
SCHLOSS Roxburghe has an abundance of activities on site. From fly-fishing and clay pigeon shooting, to air rifles and archery.
We encourage guests to book their activities prior to arrival to avoid disappointment.
Golf
SCHLOSS Roxburghe is home to a beautiful 18-hole championship course, state-of-the-art driving range, and short game practice facilities.
Weather Conditions
The SCHLOSS Roxburghe enjoys warm summers with long hours of sunshine, and cool winters with shorter daylight hours.
Scotland is famed for its unpredictable weather, so it's wise to pack a rain jacket and waterproof shoes if you plan to enjoy our many outdoor activities, regardless of the season. The walk from the cottages to the main hotel is outdoors and guests will likely need protection if it begins to rain.
